Russian Life magazine, with a publication history dating back to 1956, is a colorful, insightful look at life as it is lived in Russia today. Featuring quality journalism, amazing photography and a breadth and depth of coverage no other publication can match, Russian Life is a bimonthly trip into the heart of Russian reality, past and present.
Since 1995, when the magazine came under private ownership for the first time, we have published over 90 issues of the magazine, with articles by over 250 authors, on everything from avos to Zagorsk. Unlike other publications you may come across, Russian Life is 100% independent of the Russian government. We don't have axes to grind; we just have interesting stories to share. But don't believe us, read what some of our avid readers say about the magazine.
We have been publishing exclusively about Russia since 1990, weathering all the trials and tribulations of Russia's tumultuous transition. We also publish books and maps, and this year unveiled a new journal, Chtenia: Readings from Russia.
